Conventional IVF is the method in which oocytes are fertilized by putting them in contact with more spermatozoa in a fertilization culture environment.
In the Fertility Center, the IVF conventional procedure can be performed only if, after the sperm preparation, a sufficient number of oocytes and a satisfactory sperm quality is obtained. Even in these situations, in order to avoid some possible fertilization failures, a part of the oocytes ( number which is establish by the embryologist relative to particularly situations) will be fertilized using the ICSI procedure, without involving additional costs on behalf of the patients.
