Frozen embryos transfer

The advantage of a frozen (defrost) embryo transfer is the simplicity of the procedure and lower costs than an integral IVF/ICSI cycle. The stimulation, ovarian puncture for harvesting oocytes and other preliminary treatments are no longer necessary.
Embryo transfer with embryos that have been cryopreserved is performed within a natural cycle (monitoring ovulation) or artificial (with estro-progestive prepared substances). Although only good quality embryos are cryopreserved and we possess high performance slow freezing equipment, the survival ratio of them is approximate 80%.
