Treatments in the Fertility Center

It is an assisted human reproduction technique, in which the fecundation takes place outside the human organism, in a specialized laboratory. Thus, after the ovarian stimulation takes places in order to obtain a certain number of oocytes ( female sexual cells ), they are harvested using the vaginal puncture procedure, ultrasound-guided, and then they are put in contact, in special lab conditions, . . .

We use techniques and treatments which are practiced in some of the well known Human Assisted Reproduction clinics from Europe and America, where many of us have had the privilege to improve our knowledge on Reproductive Medicine.

In our center the treatments are strictly personalized, taking into consideration a variety of factors . . .

Artificial insemination means the processing of sperm in the laboratory, using complex methods, and its intrauterine insertion. It can be used the partner?s sperm or from a donor. The artificial insemination advantages are the simplicity pf the technique, low costs and the possibility to be perform monthly . . .

In all cases, for a certain number of oocytes ISCI technique is used (fecundation is done by inserting the spermatozoon directly inside the oocyte) in order to avoid the situation in which the oocytes are not fertilizes after 24 hours. There is no additional fee for this procedure. . . .

The transfer of the embryos in the uterus is a relatively simple procedure, unpainful, which is performed, usually, after 48-72 hours from the harvesting of oocytes, ambulatory or by being hospitalized for a few hours.. . .

The advantage of a frozen (defrost) embryo transfer is the simplicity of the procedure and lower costs than an integral IVF/ICSI cycle. The stimulation, ovarian puncture for harvesting oocytes . . .

To young couples and especially to women that have a regular spontaneous ovulation (confirmed by ultrasounds testing) we recommend . . .

Some patients suffer from chronic anovulation, or in some cases the ovarian reserve is reduced due to the age of the patient. In these situations we turn to drug-induced ovulation using one of the ovarian stimulation prepared substances . . .

Drug treatment is administered in our Center and it is charged separately from the IVF/ICSI cost and includes:

? establishing the stimulation protocol

? monitoring the ultrasound treatment

? administering the drugs

? establishing the right moment for triggering the ovulation
